A Four-Year Old Postmodernist?

Last night, as I was putting him to bed after he had been completely insufferable all evening, The Boy declared:

"Dad, when I'm bad, I don't mean it!"

Last year, my then three-year-old and I were discussing things she wanted for Christmas. I reminded her that Santa brings things to kids that are good, and I think she covered her bases quite well by saying, "Tell Santa I'm sorry." Not for anything in particular, just a general "Sorry".
